We feel so lucky to have had Oana as our wedding florist! From the very beginning she was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. She even made herself available and met us at our venue months in advance to walk through everything and make sure all the details were perfect.

On our wedding day, she brought all of my visions to life, from my gorgeous bouquet with my late dad’s ring, to the stunning ground arch, to the colourful tables for dinner. Every detail was exactly what I had imagined (and more!) and the flowers made our photos look absolutely beautiful.

One thing that really set Oana apart from other florists we spoke to was her thoughtful approach to the flow of the day. Many florists mentioned they would return mid-evening to collect their candlesticks or vases, often while the celebration was still in full swing. Oana, however, takes a different approach – she and her team wait until the following day to pack everything away. She truly understands the importance of allowing the décor to remain in place, letting the atmosphere continue naturally rather than dismantling it in front of your guests, which is something I truly appreciated

Throughout the whole process, she was patient, organised, and thoughtful, always offering helpful insights and paying attention to details I would never have considered. She checked in with me every step of the way and made me feel so cared for – not to mention the constant hugs!

Last month we had our dream wedding at Terre di Nano, who recommended Oana to us — and we couldn’t be happier that they did. We spoke a lot over email and a few months before the wedding, Oana met with us over a call to go through every detail. As a destination bride, I had many questions about logistics and the differences between florals in Italy versus the U.S., and Oana patiently explained everything from what would be in season to how we could bring my Pinterest inspiration to life.

Because we didn’t want any waste, Oana and her team went above and beyond by personally moving our ground arch from the ceremony to the olive grove for dinner decorating the heads of each table and our sweetheart table. She had so many options to choose from for table decor - you can certainly find something that matches your aesthetic. The florals were absolutely breathtaking — she truly overdelivered, and the photos are just incredible.

She even surprised me with finding one of my favorite flowers which we thought would have been out of season! Oana is warm, talented, and wonderful to work with. We would absolutely recommend her to any couple getting married in the area.

I booked ToscOana Flowers for my wedding at Terre di Nano, and I want to share my honest experience. The other reviews are glowing, but I didn’t receive anywhere near the level of service people are describing. Maybe I was just the bride that Oana didn’t care about?

As someone who cares deeply about design details, I left disappointed. The main issues were poor communication and misaligned expectations. Emails often went unanswered for weeks, and when I raised the idea of canceling altogether, I was reassured with promises of “something beautiful.” Unfortunately, what was delivered did not resemble the vision we had discussed.

• My bouquet, which I had asked to be sculptural and unusual, was instead a much smaller, traditional bouquet with spray-painted leaves that still smelled of chemicals. Flowers carry natural beauty so I am sure the guests so nothing wrong but the results were very far off from the approved inspiration images.

• My husband’s boutonniere was a standard sprig of greenery, even though I had provided references for something minimalist and sculptural.

• The place settings, which I had carefully explained and packaged with photos, were styled incorrectly — which mattered greatly since our design was intentionally minimalist.

My floral budget was small compared to most weddings, but clear and honest communication costs nothing. I was upfront that we would not be able to spend a lot of florals and gave many outs if our budget was too small to work with, but we were continually reassured that she would provide beautiful and simple decor aligned with our vision with a modest amount, and how important it is to be “generous and human” for such a special day. What would have helped most was transparency about what could realistically be achieved, rather than platitudes that led to disappointment.

Future couples with larger budgets may have a different experience, but if your budget is modest, be aware that communication may be limited and your wedding will not be treated as a priority. Understandable, I suppose, but sad to be treated like a hassle on your wedding day.

I tried to raise these concerns privately with the vendor, hoping for some explanation. Based on social media, it appears she booked two weddings on the same day and was never on site for mine (I never saw or met Oana in person). It was never explicitly said, or even implied, that Oana wouldn’t be on site and in stead sending assistants so her absence was a surprise to me. The couple times we have spoken once I track her down, she’s been kind and reassuring, but in the end the delivery just was not there and I feel the need to warn others. As with much of the process, it has now been weeks of radio silence with no response to my post-event follow-up message.

When we had flown out a few months ahead for our tasting and design walk through with Oana, she never showed up to site and never told us if she was or was not coming despite many pings on WhatsApp. The venue communicated on her behalf that she was busy with another bride. At the time I brushed this off and was understanding, but I should have seen it as the first sign of what was to come.

If I’m honest, I would recommend looking at another florist. Or, if your budget is limited and you are detail-oriented, even DIYing your florals may be less stressful — at least then you know you are depending only on yourself rather than on an uncommunicative vendor.

The flowers for the ceremony, bouquet, and table set up were all exactly as we had imagined it! Oana captured our ideas beautifully! We could not be happier - it all looked so elegant! The set up full with olive tree leaves and lemons, a lot of candles, the ceremony vases also full of flowers and my bouquet with the flowers I had requested.

From the first communication, I knew we had chosen the right florist for our venue. Oana is the sweetest, kindest person ever. She has worked with our venue multiple times so I felt very confident in her ability to create beautiful arrangements and know exactly where to place them.

I had a welcome pizza party that she also set up the decor for and it was perfect. Everyone raved how amazing the set up was. The tables consisted of herbs, lemons, and veggies which may seem simple, but it was truly perfect.

We opted for colorful florals for the wedding day and they were STUNNING. They were more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. Thank you from the bottom of our hears Oana. You are truly a gem❤️💐

I only have one word to describe Oana's work: PERFECT! Her flower arrangements were like art on our wedding day, it was magical. I was even sad that we did not have enough room to take it all with us! We got so many compliments of our guests. And above all, she is such a sweet, helpful person. Oana arranged my wedding flowers in June 2019 and they were stunning!! Oana is friendly and and so very helpful, she provided confetti last minute for me as i had forgotten to do this !!
